Image hosted by Photobucket.com Earthquake, Tsunami, Death

On the morning of 26th December, tectonic plats near Sumatra, Indonesia moved resulting in an earthquake with the scale of 9.0 and tsunami that hit Banda Aceh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, Maldives, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Somalia. Many lost their loved ones, houses were washed away too. As we can see from the news, the death toll is increasing everyday and the authorities fear that the numbers will still go up because of diseases that might be trigged by the starting-to-rot bodies and the lack of medical supplies and food.

Today, I finally got to do something for the victims of this disaster. In the morning, my neighbour asked my mother whether we have any unwanted clothes; he is sending some over to the colleting centre. So, my mother told me to look in the wardrobe and I found some unwanted T-shirts and pants. We packed them in plastic bags and send them over to my neighbour’s house. He went there around midday.

Our Prime Minister also calls off the New Year celebrations as a way to mourn of the dead. So, no countdown this year for everyone in Malaysia.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Another kursus amali

This time, it's for motorcycle. Compared to Thursday's instructors, Sunday's are more detail. They talk about more things that we need to know and they show us too. I dare not ride the motorcycles provided there as I never ride it on my own before.

Because i need to wait for the other 3 person to finish their KPP kursus, I read the comics i brought there. Finished 5 of them and they are not out yet. Sigh....

Stopped taking pain killer in the evening. The pain has redused. Hope I won't need it tonight.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Kursus Amali

Went for the 6 hours kursus amali to get my ‘L’ licence today with Heng Yik. Read from the newspaper a few days ago that the government want to increase the time for the kursus amali. But today, the kursus only last for less than 2 hours. And the instructor was talking nonsense summore. Thanks to Siu Yan’s advice, I brought 4 comic books there and managed to read all of it, to kill time of course.

Still need to eat pain killer today before the kursus. I know pain killer is not good for health but I just can't stand the pain.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Dental and trip

Today, I woke up before the sun is up to prepare myself to go out again. This time, the whole family including my cousin will go out at the same time. After having my breakfast (blended oats with carrot, cucumber, celery and tomato using straw), off we go.

The dentist was not impressed by the result of the separator made last Saturday, he inserted two this time. More pain will come soon. Then, he asked me whether I’m ready for the extraction of two of my teeth, so there goes two of my teeth. Oh, my poor teeth, bye bye… After the extraction, he told me that I need to be back on Friday to have the other two extracted. The dentist may have overdosed me with anodyne. Because I can still feel the numbness after a few hours up to my ear and nose.

After the dental, me, my mother and my cousin when to Times Square and Sungai Wang as my cousin is someone who loves hand phones and pc and ps games. But before that, we drop by S & M to buy some VCD holder. And guess what? I bought the ‘never-before-seen footage’ version of the first two Harry Potter series and the sound track of Korean drama ‘Stairway of Heaven’.

We went to Times Square by taxi. After the ‘look see’ session around the shopping mall, we visit the indoor amusement park which is located in the building’s 5th to 8th floor. Because I just had two teeth pulled out, my mother doesn’t allow me to sit on the roller coaster. She says my blood vessels might burst once more if I sit on the roller coaster because I will shout out very loud.

Sungai Wang is the place I have my eyes examined and spec fixed, a shop calls ‘K.C.Tan’. So, usually the trip there will only on the Ground Floor. But this time, we walk around Lower Ground. This is the first time I realised that the whole floor was full of hand phone stalls or shops (20-30 or more). Then, because my mother was complaining about headache, we came back home.

At home, while my mother was preparing dinner, I played with my cousin, snooker on his hand phone. We have been playing the game the previous night before we go to bed. And because it’s the first time I play the game, I’m still not good at it but on the other hand, my cousin was good. So, he kept teasing me because I can’t get a ball into the pockets until at one game when dunno what’s wrong with me, I got the entire balls in. I was so happy that I laughed so hard until my jaws hurts. That results in the pain I have to cope with all night long. Haizzzzzzzzzz……..

Haha, that’s what most of us do now after SPM. Before the movie, I when to HQ (where I meet with SY) with my cousin, a bookshop at Desa to borrow some comics. My cousin borrowed 7 while I borrowed 17. After that, we when to have lunch and then on we go to KLCC with LRT. The movie was good, hilarious at some parts.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com A trip out of KL

My cousin from Ipoh is here now. Today, we went to Malaysia Agricultural Park at Shah Alam. The entrance fees are RM 3 for people age 12 and above, RM 2 for kids age 6 to 11 and RM 1 for senior citizen age 55 and above. You can either take a bus that stop at every point or go by your own number 11 bus or by renting a bicycle (RM 3 - first hour, RM 1 - per hour following). My mother who has short legs says she can't get on a bike, so all of us who loved to ride on a bike to visit the park need to follow her desition. What make us three more angry is that she says " next time when we come only we use bicycle lah~~~". WTH, your legs won't be longer anymore. You are 55 years old!

Okey, enough of my mother's thing.

The trip to the park was quite tiring. Need to climb some steap roads to reach the places we want to visit. The park looks like no one ever mind to care for it. Hanging bridges all can't be used anymore (you need to pay if you want to use it summore). Paddy in paddy field dying because lack of water. Walk way for walkers broken. Rest place full of dry leaves.

My mother's wish to visit the 'Four Season' dashed after we found out that the current plants planted in the green house are only plants that grow in summer because of the lack of fund. My mother says that it is useless to see them because Malaysia is a country that has summer all year. According to my mother, last time the green house has all four season’s plants at the same time. Pity our generation don’t have the chance to see that beautiful scene. We wasted energy as we walked for more than 45 minutes before we reach there. After that, we were too tired to continue our journey, so we when to the nearest bus stop to take a bus back to the entrance.

We then have our lunch at a restaurant that my father says has delicious Hoi Nan chicken rice. But I didn’t try it because my teeth were aching as a result of the separator stuffed between my teeth. So, my mother ordered a Gong Fu Chao for me and I only ate the noodles but not the chicken meat, squid and vegetable. They are all too hard for me.

After lunch, my father says he want to take us to Putrajaya and Cyberjaya. Nothing to say about it because we only saw a lot of buildings but a little people and the botanical garden in Putrajaya is a place just like the agricultural park. Just to mention, my father was the one who designed the so-called entrance building. This is the first time I saw a building designed by my father.

Finally, after one day the dentist put the separater between my teeth to create more space for the band, my teeth started aching today. I can't eat hard food. Sob... sob... Have been eating oat all day long... Haizzzzz~~~~~ Still need to stand the pain until Tuesday.

Today, when to the dental to have my upper jaw's teeth put on brakets. Heard from the dentist that 4 teeth need to be removed before the real job can be done. 2 from the upper jaw, and 2 more from the lower jaw. Need to go back next Tuesday to have 2 teeth pull out and more brakets on.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Undang-undang Exam

Got a call from Siu Yan that the undang-undang exam has been brought forward. So, I wake up at 6 to get myself ready before the uncle come and pick me up. I've never felt so nervous before, not even the first day of SPM. I'm scared I will not pass, then I'll have to fork out RM50 to sit for the exam once more.

When we reach JPJ in front of Wardeben Camp, Heng Yik was saying that he didn't manage to finish reading the exercise book. While me and Siu Yan already finish reading it at home, we chat freely beside him. We did it on purpose - don't want to let him read. HAHAHAHA

Then, the pengawai there put a numbering machine outside the room where we will be having our exam. Remembering the uncle asked us to get the number as fast as possible, three of us rush toward to machine. After getting the number, I gave Siu Yan the 001 paper while I took the 002. I don't like being the first person.

But, looks like the god still want me to be the first because I was the first one called into the room. Felt quite 'yu' when I went in and out of the room for a couple of times as I don't know we need to give him our IC and RM 10 for photo. Then, the exam begins. I used only 15 minutes to complete my test. After getting my result (46/50), I go out and wait of Siu Yan and Heng Yik to come out. Siu Yan got 47 while Heng Yik got 45. After that, we all go home.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Kursus Undang-undang

Didn't think of going for the kursus until next year because I've been asking from my father for quite a large amount of money. First for my Grade 6 Practical (I know I'm quite slow....:( ). That's RM285. Then, there's my dental trip to Dental Chai. That coast my father RM 310.

But then my mother says to me that it's better to go when my friends are going. So, I asked me father and he immediately say yes. Phone up the uncle that night and decided to go for the kursus the next day with Siu Yan and Heng Yik.

Saw Way Lin and Li Ping at the place we attend the class. Was quite surprised though. The kursus was awfully boring. After the class, I and Siu Yan and Heng Yik went to Desa to have our teatime and then we go our separate way.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Bracing

Finally went to the dental to have x-ray of my teeth and the mould done. I've been talking about having bracing since Form 3 but because I didn't want to give up school band, I waited patiently for another 2 years.

Went to the dental for an appointment at 1.30 p.m. but the dentist only attend to me after letting me wait for more than an hour. As usual, my mum says because he is very 'hot'. The same thing happened when my sis was having bracing too. That affected my piano class so, need to call up the music centre to have my class cancelled.

After doing the mould, the nurse there says they will call us up after the dentist work out a plan for me. Hope he will be fast. I don't want to wait any longer. 2 years of waiting is more than enough.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com A day out after SPM

Went to KLCC with Panda, Siu Yan and Wei Mei. For what? As a way to celebrate the end of SPM and to wish Panda a safe journey to Pahang for her National Service.

We reach there around 12p.m. Didn't manage to catch 'Umizaru' because one to us want to wake up late. So, we decided to watch 'The Polar Express". Because we have sometime before the movie starts, we went to a shop that sells puzzle. A very nice shop indeed. But the price of the products are much more beautiful. Then, we went to another Shop call 'D'nata' or something like that. It's a shop full of things that you can buy and make art work by yourself. Panda suggest that my sis will love the shop as she is a art lover as Panda. Hmm... Maybe I'll bring my sis someday.

Now, back to the movie. 'The Polar Express' is a nice movie. Full of X'mas spirit as Panda says. I recommend those who want to watch it to watch it in the eve of X'mas. You'll be surprise with the effect of it.

After the movie, we had our lunch at KFC. Then after a chat with them, we went to the park to have some photo shooting. Siu yan used her handphone while Panda used her camera. I think we were there for more than an hour and a half. Before we go back, we all have a cup of ice cream that cost RM4.90. According to Panda, it's quite cheap compare to other places. That I don't know because I seldom go out.

The outing was nice, but my leg sore. Maybe I haven't been walking for so long since my mother ask my father to buy another car to fetch me home because of my body condition. Haha, I have a very weak body. I can't stand the sun, the stress, the heat and stuffy air. All these will make me have headache for the whole day long.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com SPM over. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

No words can describe my feelings now. It's great, really great. After a month long of exam, finally it's over. YEAH!!!!! I can sleep well now. But I still don't feel good because I think I didn't give my best this time. I didn't manage to finish revising for Chemistry, Biology and Physics, the three most important subject that will determined whether I will be accepted in to Form 6 Science. I totally mess things up. Now I can just cross my finger and hope that the result graph is low then, I will have the chance to get better result... How evil am I...

Now, something in this period.

2nd Nov:
First day of exam. Chinese. After the exam, I felt relieved. I won't need to touch any Chinese anymore. After all, I kept forgetting Chinese words. I need Siu Yan to give me spelling every time before exam and when we need to write an essay, those near me will act as my moving dictionary. I want to take this opportunity to thank those who acted as my moving dictionary before.

3rd Nov:
My additional subject - Geography. First time eating in the school's library. Thanks to Mrs. Lee, the librarian. She said that the Principal give us the permission. Ate 'char xiu' rice in there. Geography was okay. Not very hard but can't be said easy. I don't have the confidence I will get A.

4th Nov:
Additional Math. After the exam, almost everyone said that the paper was easy. For me, yeah, it's easier that the trial but it's still hard for me. I thought of a solution last minute and was scared by the examiner when she ask me to stop writing until my hand shake unstoppablily. Can't even tie the benang correctly.

5th Nov:
Because we were having History Paper 1 (1 hour), the examiner said that we can't go out early. So, we were like ok. We'll do as you say. But after he collected our exam sheet, he asked us to stay back for a while. He say we let down our school, our parents, and even he himself feels ashamed because he is a Chinese. Why did he say so, because some fools make noise when we were sitting for the exam. Eh, you didn't let us out already, want to talk so much, why not tell those who make noise? We later thought of a nick name for him - Mr. Li Yi Lian Chi because he talked about our school motto.

23rd Nov:
Physics - the subject I scared the most. I'm never good in Physics before. Always getting marks that are near fail. I used a week to study the chapter 'Daya dan Geseran' but still can't master it. So, to make up the time lost as I only manage reading to chapter 4 out of 12, I woke up around 1a.m. to read. And by the way, I found out that the examiner that day is a unhygiennic person. When I was trying to remember the answer for the exam, I leave up my head and there she is, using her finger to clear dirt on her teeth then using the same finger to scratch her head then again doing her teeth thing. Iue.............. How unhygiennic of her. Imagine after that she, going to touch my exam sheet. Worst still, the head examiner came in and chit-chat with her in front of me. Hei, do you guys know the exam is still going on????

1st Dec and 2nd Dec:
Last two subjects - Chemistry and Biology. Paper 3 of the two subject was a disaster. Same as the day I'm having Physics, I got up at 1 to study. Went to school with a very blur mind because lack of sleep. I totally didn't how to write the experiment for Chemistry, because I didn't manage to read it even I woke up at 1. And for Biology, I know the actual way to write the experiment but screw it up because I though it was for another subject. How stupid am I.... 17 marks out of 50.... Fly away liao...... T_T. But can I do, I only started reading the book with 16 chapter in the evening of 1st Dec.

So, I still think if I had started revising earlier, I won't have to face these problems. Really need to change my study habit if I want to excel in my future exams.
